ROSALIE GALANTE

Rosalie began dancing when she was just 5 years old. With the support and inspiration of her parents, she quickly developed a creative side and discovered her passion for dance and music.  Motivated by her love for dance, she began formal training in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz at a studio in Staten Island, New York, where she continued to learn throughout childhood. During her adolescent years, she began to explore new sides of dance to enhance her repitoire and trained for five additional years in both Contemporary and Hip Hop. In 2004, Rosalie transferred to Florida and began teaching Ballet, Contemporary and Hip Hop for various dance studios and companies. Her passion to inspire people and help individuals express themselves through dance and music led her to teach dance and develop inspiring choreographies for many non-profit organizations and local charity events across the South Florida region.

Now, Rosalie has been making a difference and drawing people to the beauty of dance through her choreographies for more than fifteen years. It’s this passion for bringing joy to people’s lives and helping them express themselves through dance and music led her to establish her own dance company. Rosalie is now is the founder of Creative Souls Dance LLC and a certified dance instructor with formal training in Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Ballroom – including Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz and Tango. A member of the National Dance Council, Rosalie is recognized throughout the dance industry as one of America’s top teachers and performers. As an expert in teaching dancers and developing creative choreographies, Rosalie has taught the art of dance to a variety of individuals, ranging from competitors to first-timers, at local dance companies, non-profits, and charity events. Her students have performed in a multitude of venues and have won first place in numerous dance competitions around the world. A former instructor and choreographer at the Boca Raton location of Arthur Murray International Dance, one of the largest and most respected dance franchises in the world, Rosalie was recognized by Arthur Murray’s headquarters as being the ‘Top Teacher – Area 3’ (Southeast USA) in 2016.

Rosalie also believes that a healthy lifestyle is a happy one, so she combines positive and inspiring music with all her dance background to develop fun and diverse choreographies for the dance aerobics, group workshops and Zumba classes that she teaches at several country clubs and gyms across South Florida. When Rosalie isn’t dancing, she loves riding jet-skis, biking through nature, and watching “FRIENDS” (over and over again) with her closest friends. And while she can’t imagine not having dance in her life, there was a time in her life where she was convinced she’d be an All-Star basketball player in the WNBA.
